12:30 am - Looking to Move!
Tomorrow I start calling my prepared list of 10-20- maybe 30 contacts of potential roommates. I'm going book appointments and go to appointments until my schedule is full for the next few days. Average price is 500$, usually tipping a tad over for some reason or other. Occasionally less. I've spent the past week looking daily through hundreds of Craigslist postings. I expect most of them will be taken and I'll have to dig deep with tooth and nail and fast and with cell phone to get in a good place. I must move in two weeks, or the sky falls. I've lived with uncle forever, time to go. I wanted to surprise him and just leave with little notice, but some places want references. And uncle is my only live-with reference. So I might decide to spring it on him tomorrow night or saturday.

1:17 pm - Wikihow
Added Wikihow search engine to firefox, for the site Wikihow.com. Looks like it's just starting, but I like the top 50 list of most viewed pages. I might become a contributer there. So far it being the top hit in google for "wiki how" is enough to convince me it's awesome.

1:03 am - Arrogance of Vista
Arrogance of Vista in techsupport. Detailed, interesting.

Also, there's a related commerical out there somewhere that has PC Guy and Mac Guy talking, with a new third security guy interrupting everything the windows guy's doing with asking permission to allow or deny every thing. Hilariously entertaining as always.

2:21 pm - Social Operating System
When Facebook announced its platform, a set of application programminginterfaces (APIs) and services that allow outside developers to injectnew features and content into the Facebook user experience, Facebook,in essence, became the Social Operating System. Historically, the creation of an operating system, or a platform, has led to a new economy which includes a marketplace of applications.[Bay Partners]

I have already added my favorite videogames with thumbsized picts (awesome), same again with books. I get to boast in subtle way, a very condensed and clean way what my tastes are, am happy I don't have to deal with complicated webpage formating nor any coding. There's so much more here, and it's growing. Come, people, join me. Submit to peer pressure already and get to the point where we're sharing stuff on there. Those of you who are holding out, you know who you are.

My hero Scott Adams (makes Dilbert) talks nutrition in his blog today, which is in recent years my favorite subject.

3:01 pm - Wii Yoga
There's Wii Yoga. Need I say more? Yes I do. But I won't. I just like the shock value of it existing. Showing off the surprise. Some Fit game that appears as a footnote in this article.

4:12 am - Nutritious lifestyle a year later
I eat a pizza, I get sick. I don't eat pizza, and instead eat my regular healthy foods, I don't get sick. I see the pattern. It's so clearly obvious the only thing wrong is why I keep eating the damn delicous almost free things. But the taste as the baked pepperoni and cheese and sauce comes into contact with the tongue is not worth the after effects. Ohh, the after effects, they're awful.

My body starts doing things I used to write off as 'normal'. Headaches, mucus build-up, triply allergic to dust, and moderate constipation too. I used to live off microwavable pizza pockets as if it we're sustenence, and I suppose somehow the body managed to accidentally get it's daily essential dosage of stuff somewhere else. Like at visits to an aunt, which happened once a year. I strongly suspect I would've grown taller if I kept eating nutriously the whole time growing, being below average Canadian height. I'm a guy at only 5'6", I'm the smallest at almost everything. I still think I'm supposed to grow up some additional height, but that at age almost 25 I've only got a future of shrinking ahead of me.

Since the body's taken such a 'hit' recently, I'm suffering all these ailments. I feel it needs balance out the load eating extra fruits, vegetables, drinking extra water. And it works. These ailments recover themselves soon enough. All pizza are delicous, certainly. Other things not worthy of being classified as 'foods' can just as negatively affect me, like a big dosage of sugar from something insane like 75 grams (2 rows of cookies). That's certainly outside the realm of a defined serving size, well past the 2 cookies standard. That would do it too. There's a million things I can count in nutrition, but I only try to remember a handful of numbers, the rest I just remember to eat usually or not usually.

I'm nutritious and I feel great. Go me. No deep fried stuff, almost no sugar of the artificially processed or white variety. Preferring fresh, baked, lots of water, various supplements, and like 10 other things I do regularly that I can't think of right now. Here, I close with a choice. Which picture would you prefer to eat if you could choose from one? Ignore the healthy soup, that's by accident in there. Although it being in a tetra pack is bad enough for the environment.

11:07 pm - Facebook vs. MySpace
I know another big reason why I like Facebook, to add to my growing list. It's designed to be the opposie of what MySpace is today. That's reason enough on it's on own, but I find it all the more gratifying. Ok, done for now.

I signed up for a MySpace account, to see what all the fuss is about. So far I've seen 3 fake people in about a day. Two young attractive women wanted to have playful sexual relations with me, and one seems to be a default fake person added when I first created it just to have 1 default friend. It's like spam-friends. And then there's the series of badly formed HTML/CSS pages I've seen in the past few days. That just solidifies my position to never use MySpace. All I have there in my profile is repeating instructions to go find me on Facebook. It only rankles me somewhat that MySpace still has many times the userbase of Facebook, but it may loose it eventually. Fucking fuck. Why is the cheap quality sites always so damn popular with the morons? Any friends of mine who enjoy MySpace's quality need to be downgraded and/or shot.

12:16 am - Dilbert author generates great money-making opps.
Even Scott Adams can make my job search easier. After his post, comes a series of people's own one-sentence job descriptions, preferably in a humorously derogatory way. And it is the most useful accumulation of job choosing simplified data I've come across in a long time. I'm saving this and will try to pick a career from it. Heh

1:02 am - Stolen bike. Reward $100
My bicycle was stolen from in front of my property this morning or the night before. I'm reporting it to the police, but in the mean time it seems smart to post here. I'm not quite sure what I'll do. I think I'll post a 100 flyers printed out from Kinkos with my most recent digital photograph cropped out at the edges of the bicycle itself, which might say something like offering a 100$ reward for it's return. If I actually got called it would be cheaper than the 350$ to replace exactly it. It's all beaten up and appears in awful condition, the only reason this particular bike was stolen was my fault. I forgot it outside unlocked. In this downtown area bike theft is a normal activity. Once stolen it's supposed to be hopeless, but I'm going to try as hard as I know how. Bicycling is my way of life, I use it for everything. Any further advice, help, or just discussion would be appreciated.

Are there bigger online communities than LiveJournal's Toronto Bikes I can also post this to, or this already the biggest? I've also posted in toronto and torontobikes and in a Facebook note, and in craigslist in lost & found.

2:19 am - Exodus to Facebook
Ok. I officially like Facebook more than Livejournal. Well, now I do. I'm using fb a lot more. Technically it looks more advanced, but really lots of things that draw me to it now. Proportionally my lj posts will likely stay at this diminished rate. I'll never delete the account, I don't believe in that. I intend to use it in at least sporadically, until I die. There's community connections I've spent time building I still use occasionally. However I'm pouring my heart and soul into facebook. There's so much more life here.

Hey zero, if you're sorry to see me go, you can always reconsider your stance on a certain issue and join me.

2:29 am - I officially like FB
Ha, now this is interesting. FB has a whole bunch of people using. A whole freaking lot. Enough that it attains a "most viewed" status, for both women and men. Good for them. Also, there's Toronto high school related news of arrests around FB. It's an awesome tool for communicating to groups. Much better than manually clicking each person individually in emails or adding to instant messaging conversations if there. I like it.

Oh yah the reference, as per usual in my postings

3:02 pm - Strengthing good
I feel strong in my fingers, all the way up through my whole body. It's measured in terms of soreness. I seek sore muscles, as I know they're from hard work, they'll grow. Finally I'm happy at doing a GOOD physical workout.
